Do you love walking, cycling, fishing, golf, art, photography and stunning scenery?  Visiting Dumfries and Galloway, and more importantly, using Kirkcudbright as a base to explore is a great choice.   With its range of independent shops and many galleries Kirkcudbright (pronounced Kur-coo-bree) is also known as the Artists Town.

If wildlife, art and photography is your interest, look no further.  The woods, which are just a minute or two’s walk away, has a wildlife hide that is easy, and free, to access.  There is an abundance of birds and plenty of red squirrels, so it should be possible to take some delightful images.
Alternatively for the writers and creative types, relaxing in my B&B should inspire.
