Balcary Bay Country House Hotel

Balcary Bay Country House Hotel

Balcary Bay Country House Hotel takes its name from the beautiful bay on which it stands commanding a stunning location overlooking the Solway, within an area of Galloway that is romantic in its isolation, and which was once full of intrigue. Heston Isle, the hide-out of 17th Century smugglers, fronts the hotel’s view across the Solway coast, while beyond rise the majestic peaks of the Cumbrian Lake District.

Romantic, secluded, tranquil & welcoming. We invite you to escape the pressures of everyday life. The hotel is set within three acres of mature landscaped coastal grounds & stands on the shore of the secluded bay offering all the comforts you would expect from a family owned country house hotel.

Whether you are a seasoned walker, cyclist, golfer, bird-watcher, or merely wish to escape for a little peace & tranquillity, Balcary Bay Country House Hotel is your ideal base.

Dogs accepted by prior arrangement

Balcary Bay Country House Hotel offers a range of hotel accommodation with room types that are sure to suit your requirements. Many enjoy magnificent views across the bay, with the remainder overlooking the mature gardens. So why not spoil yourself & consider a deluxe or superior room & take in the breath taking views.
