Lifeboat Week is one of the highlights in Portpatrick. For 2019 it starts on Sunday 28 July.
The week long celebrations provide ideal entertainment for holiday makers and villagers alike.The week kicks off with the “Rib Raid” from across the water in Northern Ireland and culminates with a fun-packed Raft Race within the harbour and a firework display
Lifeboat Week in Portpatrick is packed with interesting and fun events organised by Portpatick RNLI and the village community.
There is a sand castle competition, talent show, pet show, fancy dress competition and lots more. You can even visit the lifeboat itself.
