    You can book tickets using our easy online booking system. No registration is required, and there are no booking fees to pay.  You can print your ticket at home (it arrives by email as a pdf attachment), or show us on your phone or tablet.  If you cannot print or see the ticket, then we will have a list of ticketholders so will just need your name.You can also book using a credit or debit card over the phone on 01988 850368.  Please note that we cannot often be by the phone so please leave a message and we will phone you back later.Please note that tickets are non-refundable.   • Moniaive Folk Festival 2018

    Moniaive folk festival parade

    Join the team at the Moniaive Folk Festival.

    Headline artists for Moniave 2018 are the Jarlath Henderson Band. Multi instrumentalist Jarlath leads a five piece  band and was the youngest ever BBC Young  Folk Award in 2003.

    Ross Ainslie and the Sanctuary Band are also on the bill at Moniaive. Ross has worked with Jarlath Henderson but for Moniaive Folk Festival he will be leading his own band.

    Also appearing at Moniaive Folk Festival 2018 are Moishe’s Bagel, Rise Kagona (ex Bhundu Boys) & The Jit Jive Band, plus Jenn Butterworth & Laura-Beth Salter.

    Not only will there be many first class musicians performing – there will also be Family and Children’s Events such as Clydebuilt Puppets , Little Fawn Caravan Theatre, a Tea Dance, Parade and Workshop, ceilidh and much more.

  • Girvan Folk Festival 2018


    NEXT FESTIVAL 4 – 6 May, 2018. The Girvan Traditional Folk Festival celebrated its 40th Anniversary in May 2014. It is one of Scotland’s longest established folk festivals. It is now looking forward to 50 years and beyond.

  • Portpatrick Folk Festival 2018

    Portpatrick Folk Festival sessions

    Portpatrick Folk Festival  2018

    The ever popular Portpatrick Folk Festival will take place as usual on the first weekend in September. The usual sessions will take place inside (and outside) the participating pubs and it is hoped that a very substantial number of musicians will attend. As with 2017, there are no plans at present to hold a formal concert or ceilidh this year and we will keep you updated if this changes. Most visitors attending the Portpatrick Folk Festival  always regarded the sessions and wonderful atmosphere as the main attraction.

    The Thornhill Music Festival takes place over the first weekend in May,

    Friday 4th May 2018 to Sunday 6th May 2018


    The Thornhill Music Festival was started in 2012 by The Lewis Hamilton Band who had noticed a decline in available live music


    This successful festival has grown into a spirited annual community event, with regular attendees from all over the UK coming each year. The festival has grown each year thanks to the help of the local community, the committee, the venues, and other participants.


    Venues will include The Thornhill Inn, The Farmer Arms, Thomas Tosh and the Thornhill Bowling Club
