Studio 17

Arts and Crafts
Whithorn

The Home of Happy Snail Crafts, Belted Galloway Gifts, Raw Art & Galloway Arts

Studio 17 is nestled next to Cooper Cottage, a traditional stone built Scottish house, on Isle Street in Whithorn.

Never heard of Whithorn? It’s a marvellous little town, situated in The Machars and Dumfries and Galloway’s first city.

OK, I can hear you shouting, ‘Where on earth is The Machars?…..’

The Machars are an area of Wigtownshire, and before you ask, Wigtownshire is in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland.

All our work is designed, made and printed right here in Whithorn. From hand knitted hats to greetings cards, wooden pin badges to Beltie mugs, framed art to wellie pegs, we have a great selection of local handcrafted gifts for you.

At the moment we are open most weekends to visitors but you can book an appointment to visit Studio 17 by calling 01988 501011 and we will be happy to open up for you.

All our products are available on our website

As this is a working studio it is unsuitable for small children.

Please wear your mask when visiting. Hand sanitiser is available by the door.
