The Mull of Galloway Trail runs from the Mull to Stranraer and continues north as the Loch Ryan Coastal Path for a total distance of 37 miles to Glenapp in South Ayrshire where it links with the Ayrshire Coastal Path.

The trail offers a stunning long distance walk across Scotland's most southerly peninsula. The trail was created and is maintained by the Rotary Club of Stranraer on an entirely voluntary basis. There are information boards at strategic points along the trail, to guide walkers and also inform them of the history of the area they are passing through.
