Mr Pook’s Kitchen is a restaurant situated on the site of the old Clydesdale bank in Castle Douglas. Opened in 2018 by Ed Pook, the restaurant uses ancient, classic and modern cooking techniques to showcase some of the best produce in Dumfries & Galloway from local suppliers as well as foraged foods from the woods and hills of our wonderful countryside.
