Kirroughtree Visitor Centre Cafe
Kirroughtree Forest
Newton Stewart

The cafe at Kirroughtee is within a magnificent purpose built Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre at Kirroughtree in Galloway Forest park between Newton Stewart and Creetown was opened in 2014.

The Cafe at Kirroughtree Visitor Centre is open daily from March to October. 10am to 5pm (closes 4pm in March)  For winter hours see website.

This spacious cafe has seating both indoors where there is a woodburning stove for these colder days and outdoors on a large terrace. Kirroughtree is one of the 7 Stanes Mountain Biking Centres and the Visitor Centre Building is shared with a bike hire shop and a well stocked gift shop. There is an abundance of  interesting information about Galloway Forest Park in the building.

The cafe offers a large range of light lunches and snacks.

The menu at Kirroughtree also includes a wide range of vegetarian and gluten-free items.
