Dark Sky Ranger

Dark Skies
Dalton

We offer ‘Dark Sky Tours’ in Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park and wider Dumfries & Galloway. Learn about space and star gazing with us with the option to receive high quality photos of your experience!

Here is a selection of some of the great activities I have on offer for you

Star Gazing Events.

We start with some practical experiments, then we will watch the sun go down and the stars come out.

Over a few hours, usually 2-3,  we will explore the sky with binoculars, bringing everything into focus with a little science and  myths and legends

Celestial Events. The New Moon, Full Moon and Planetary Alignments can be combined with Star Gazing Events.

Meteor Showers. These are normally late night events, which can be combined with Star Gazing, or they can be taken as stand alone adventures
