About Castle Douglas Golf Club

THE COURSE at Castle Douglas Golf Club is an

attractive, tree-lined 9-hole parkland course, situated close to the centre of the town of Castle Douglas. It is a very fair course for all levels of golfer.

The course measures 5400 yards for 18 holes, par 68, slope rating 119 (white), 118 (yellow), and 120 (red).

Our greens and tees are well laid out and superbly kept and this makes it a pleasure to play the course.

We think you will find the third hole a very interesting hole as it has a plateau in front of the green, and there are several other similarly individual holes. The second tee looks over the town to the countryside beyond, and it is worth pausing and looking backwards from the top of the hill on the ninth hole – you will see a beautiful vista including Threave Castle and the Galloway Hills to the north and west.

VISITORS
We have set our Visitor Fees for 2021 at a very competitive level –

£20 for an all day ticket, £15 for 18 holes, and £10 for 9 holes. That’s great value for money! Visitors can book via the link on the Visitors’ page of the Club’s website – cdgolfclub.co.uk. You can walk the course relatively easily with a carry bag; alternatively, golf buggies and trolleys are available for hire at a very reasonable price.
