Dumfries and Galloway is not short of beautiful scenery from its’ glorious green countryside and rolling hills to its’ sandy coast and spectacular sunsets. 15 miles from the market town of Newton Stewart and 20 miles from Stranraer with its’ many shops, restaurants and museums. Close to the Galloway Forest, part of the 7 stanes for keen cyclists, adventurous hikers or peaceful strollers and dog walkers. There is an abundance of sea, loch and river fishing spots for anglers and even the golfers can enjoy a round at nearby St Medan golf course. Whilst those seeking a more relaxing break can visit Scotland’s National book town of Wigtown where there is an annual book festival each autumn. Sample local produce from a choice of smokehouses dotted along the main A75 route or indulge in home made jersey ice cream at the famous Cream O’ Galloway. Both properties are located on the edge of the holiday park. Both properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 people. Facilities on the park for children consist of an enclosed play paddock with slide, swings and climbing tower.
