"My partner and I stayed in Willow for a week in April 2017. The property was immaculate, finished and equipped to a high standard. Bathrooms very impressive and shower has very good water pressure (the look good but deliver water drip by drip type are a pet hate of mine). A must these days seems to be good wifi – no issues there either with respectable speed. The property is located on a very pretty street with no through vehicular traffic and has dedicated parking right outside. The Masons Arms is literally across the street and provides good food that is reasonably priced – whilst Willow’s kitchen is great we chose to let the Masons handle catering most evenings (advisable to book). Always good to give a balanced view but there’s genuinely very little to be critical of with Willow. Outside space at the back is still in part a work in progress but this is due to a third property still being renovated and the owner informed us of this prior to our stay and frankly it’s not an issue. In summary a great place to stay and a good base to explore Dumfries and Galloway from. I’m sure we will be back."
