At Craigengillan Estate we are able to offer a variety of accommodation options.
We are sure that you will be able to find the perfect option that meets your needs.

Nestled deep within the grounds of Craigengillan Estate sit two beautifully restored cottages.

The cottages named ‘Forget Me Not’ and ‘Find Me Out’ sit peacefully in a sunny woodland glade by the banks of the rushing Glessel burn.

Whether you want somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle of the city or provide the perfect environment to celebrate that special moment, whatever the reason, we are sure our self service cottages will be perfect.

Find Me Out Cottage
has a double bedroom. The bed can be split into two singles, a living room with a cosy log fire and sofa bed that sleeps two. There is a traditional kitchen, complete with a working Aga.

A secure fenced garden for the dogs to play in, or the children to play safely in.
Forget Me Not,
a thatched cottage has a double bedroom upstairs The bed can split into two singles,(with option of an extra bed)

A double bedroom downstairs with a log fire, (with the option of another bed in there too).

The kitchen/living room is complete with working aga. There is a sofa bed here that can accommodate another two.

Shower and toilet downstairs, and bathroom upstairs.

Secure fenced garden to the rear of the property that allows dogs and children to play safely.

Outdoors, there are a wide variety of things to see and do during your stay.

From the Ness Glen gorge walk, to some fishing and outdoor activities, we have something for everyone.

Also don’t forget we also have Glamping Pods
Our comfortable and cosy pods are fully equipped for self catering and can sleep up to four people.

One has a double bed with two singles that convert as daytime seating and the other four singles (Bedding is not provided) Each pod has a self contained toilet and shower.

They have basic cooking facilities with a hob, microwave and kettle.

Or you could enjoy the dark skies and have barbecue and toast marshmallows on our outside firepit.

One of our pods is wheelchair friendly so those with reduced mobility can also enjoy the glamping experience. They are pet friendly and you can also bring your horse on holiday with you and enjoy the 70 miles of off road hacking in beautiful surroundings that the estate offers.
Craigengillan also offers some of the most amazing untapped walks if you prefer to explore the countryside on foot and we also have fantastic mountain biking both on the estate and within the Galloway Forest.

The extensive network of footpaths at Craigengillan offer wonderful opportunities for walkers of all ages and fitness levels.

As you wind your way through unspoilt countryside, you will discover an amazing variety of natural habitats rich in wildlife and archaeological interest as well as taking you to spectacular places including Dalcairnie Falls and the famous Ness Glen, so do not forget to bring your camera.

There is no entry fee to the estate — we welcome visitors at any time.
