""Wonderful warm welcome and room; everything you could need in lovely fresh, tasteful decor; fabulous breakfast (proper napkins, fresh coffee, porridge, and full Scottish!) Nothing too much trouble for our gracious hostess. Books, sofas, pool table, darts, telly also available in large living/b'fast room for a rainy day!" Tip: "Go to the unique nearby Swallow Theatre; to Post Office in Whithorn which stocks just about everything you could need; all local historical sights are illuminating; go to bookshops in Wigtown, drive the glorious A712 to New Galloway, and visit Loch Trool. Eat at Steampacket Inn at Isle of Whithorn - excellent value ( you will not need a starter!) Home made beer too.""
