Barstobrick Holiday Lodges

Barstobrick Holiday Lodges are situated on a dairy farm run by the Austin family.

Onsite there is a coffee shop, walking trails and a horse riding centre.

Offering free WiFi and stunning countryside views,  Barstobrick Holiday lodges are centrally located. Near the small village of Ringford, a perfect base to explore beautiful Dumfries and Galloway.

The Pond Lodges, our new development for 2021, have a king-sized bed, small kitchen and shower room.

Each lodge is equipped with a smart tv, soft seats inside as well as outdoor dining table and chairs on the deck overlooking the ponds and rolling Galloway hills.

Queenshill Lodges offer more spacious accommodation for up to 4 people.

They are pet friendly and their peaceful and tranquil location make them perfect for a relaxing escape.

The lodges back onto the walled garden which is open to be explored all year.

Breakfasts

Arrange for a breakfast hamper to be delivered to your lodge (additional charge).

Or you can enjoy a full Scottish breakfast in our coffee shop. Only 30 minutes walk from Queenshill Lodges or 2 minutes by car and just  a few hundred metres from the pond lodges.

Additionally, local produce and BBQ hampers are available to be pre-ordered in advance of your stay.

Activities around the site

There are several walking trails to join right outside your lodge where maps are provided.

The clue sheet for the Galloway Faerie Trail is on sale in the coffee shop.

There is also a horse-riding centre on site with lessons or treks to suit all ages and abilities (booking is advised).

The ‘Artist’s town’ of Kirkcudbright, is just six miles away, here you will find a supermarket for supplies and many cafés, restaurants and shops. 

Dumfries is 25.2 miles from Barstobrick, while Cairnryan (Irish ferry port) is 53.4 miles away. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is 55.9 miles away.
