LUXURY ACCOMMODATION AT THE AULDGIRTH INN

Step inside and it’s hard at first to reconcile age with the plush 21st century inn.

Comfortably cosy, its warm, welcoming ambiance mingles with five centuries of history stacked up within the walls. Sit by the lounge bar inglenook and share a space once occupied by Rabbie Burns as he sheltered against winter’s icy blast.

Six luxury rooms, whose tasteful decor reflects the overall ambience of the Inn, are designed to the highest of modern country character standards offering comfort and relaxation.

Enjoy a delicious meal in the spacious dining area where you can watch talented chefs as they busily prepare a wide range of mouth-watering dishes mainly from healthy local Scottish produce.

And why not retire to one of the beautifully furnished bedrooms for a relaxing night’s rest.

It comes as no surprise that the Auldgirth Inn is already wracking up awards after undergoing its first major modernisation since 1804. And that’s down to new owner, award winning restaurateur and chef Robert Macaleese.
