Welcome to Cream o’ Galloway!

Set in the beautiful Galloway countryside, Cream o’ Galloway is a family visitor attraction on an organic dairy farm, and the home of the luxury ice cream enjoyed throughout the country.
With its Adventure Playground built for children and adults, nature trails, tearoom, garden, bicycle trails and special events, Cream o’ Galloway really does have something for the whole family.

There are 25 flavours of luxury dairy ice cream and dairy free sorbet to choose from in the visitor centre, open daily between Easter and the end of October. The family friendly centre is also open for the February school holidays and at weekends in March. Check out our on-line calendar for opening times and ticket prices.

Built for adults and children to play together, the indoor and outdoor play areas include ‘Go Boing!’, a series of suspended nets a bit like a giant trampoline. Children aged 6+ and adults can enjoy the Flying Fox zip wire, the Drop Slide and Pedal Karts, plus a viewing tower, 3D maze, assault course and the fabulous ‘Smugglers’ Warren’ indoor play area.

Daily Events

A daily Ice Cream Tasting Event allows the opportunity to try a selection of different flavours. Choose Finlay’s Farm Tour or the Food Tour to meet the cows on the farm. Special Events such as seasonal wildlife events and ice cream making activities are offered during the year. To find out what’s on when and to pre-book discounted event tickets, take a look at the Cream o’ Galloway website

Cream o’ Galloway started making ice cream in 1994, and in 2013 diversified again into cheese making. Taking the ‘Food Tour’ or the ‘Finlay’s Farm Tour’ is the best way for your family to hear all the stories and see behind the scenes at this award winning business.

The buggy-friendly nature trails take in two wildlife lochans, a wildlife hide, acres of young woodland and some stately ancient woodland too.

After all that fun and adventure you’ll want to tuck into a treat from the menu, much of it made with produce from the farm.
